The learning network “Smart mobility in the districts” will look into new solutions for public transport in districts with sparsely populated settlements and long distances.

New solutions for transportation in the districts

Transportation is essential for maintaining vibrant communities and district centers. What do the solutions of the future look like?

“Smart mobility in the districts” has been initiated by the Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation. The project will collect the experiences that exist related to new solutions for public transport in sparsely populated areas and map the potential for new solutions. The project establishes a time-limited learning network for county municipalities with a focus on new solutions for public transport, where experiences are shared and new solutions are discussed.
