Do you identify as bisexual+? Then we'd love to talk to you.
Nordland Research Institute and Fafo is conducting a research project on living conditions among bisexuals on behalf of the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs.
We want to interview people who identify as bisexual+, that is, people who are romantically or sexually attracted to people of the same gender as themselves as well as other genders.
We conduct both individual interviews and focus group interviews. In individual interviews, we invite individuals to speak with one of the researchers in the project. We would like to hear about life experiences and reflections related to identifying as bisexual+, and other topics people want to talk about.
In focus group interviews, we gather 3-6 participants (bisexual+) who are willing to talk about experiences and views related to sexual orientation. The researcher facilitates, listens and takes notes during the conversation.
We want to talk to people of all ages, from different parts of the country and with different life experiences.
Anonymization
All participants will be anonymized in reports from the project, meaning that it is not possible to recognize individuals. Only the researchers know the participants' identities.
What does it mean to participate in individual interviews?
If you wish to participate in an individual interview, this will take between 1-2 hours. The interview can be conducted in person or digitally, depending on your preference.
What does it involve participating in a focus group interview?
If you wish to participate in a focus group interview, this will take approximately 1 ½ hours and will be conducted at an agreed location together with a researcher and other participants.
Would you like to participate, or would you like to know more?
