Education and work experience

Bjørg Eva Skogøy has a mix of practical and academic background, with work experience from different types of services (municipality, hospital, social security office, voluntary organization) which has provided a good understanding of the work areas of different social actors, and the need for cooperation between different services. She researches the implementation of guidelines and evidence-based measures, and is interested in differences between health enterprises and professional groups. She is particularly interested in preventive measures for children and young people, and children who are relatives.

PhD thesis "From policy to practice; Implementation of changes in law to support and protect children of ill parents" at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Tromsø, The Arctic University of Norway.
