Elisabeth (Liz) Morris-Webb PhD is a transdisciplinary marine scientist, with interests in human-nature connection, ocean literacy and pro-environmental behavioural change. Her work draws on marine ecology, human geography, environmental psychology and health sciences (specifically related to well-being). Liz has nineteen years of experience working as a marine ecologist, scientific diver and founding Director of a small marine consultancy, Marine Ecological Solutions Ltd (Marine EcoSol).  Since 2016, she has developed a social science research portfolio at Nordland Research Institute and Bangor University, Wales, where she is still an Honorary Research Fellow. Liz works with the public, coastal user groups and marine practitioners, researchers across disciplines, and government to ensure that human-nature relationships are considered in decision making, from individual to planning and policy. Liz is now a Senior Researcher at the NRI, focusing on ocean literacy across the transdisciplinary projects EmpowerUS, PREP4BLUE and CoastSupport.
