Universal design and accessibility

We are continuously working to make our digital services accessible and user-friendly for everyone, regardless of ability, technology or situation.

The website is developed and maintained based on universal design principles and current accessibility requirements. We adhere to recognized standards for universal design of digital solutions, including WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).

The goal is for content and functionality to be:

  • possible to operate

  • understandable

  • robust across platforms and devices

We are continuously working on improvements related to, among other things:

  • structure and navigation

  • contrasts and readability

  • alternative text for images

  • keyboard navigation

  • compatibility with screen readers

  • clear language and content structure

The website has been developed based on requirements and recommendations from:

  • WCAG 2.1

  • EU Accessibility Directive

  • Norwegian requirements for universal design of ICT solutions

We are working to meet level AA of the WCAG standard.
