Hekta på Træna (Hooked on Træna in English) was organized to promote the solid cultural relationship between the Norwegian Træna community and the sea and to give participants a glimpse into the islands' rich fishing history.
Nordland Research Institute´s Maiken Bjørkan has been chosen for the working group of social sciences in The International Arctic Science Committee (IASC).
