Nordlandsforskning skal bidra til et mer bærekraftig samfunn og tar derfor ansvar for vår miljøpåvirkning. En viktig del av arbeidet er å være Miljøfyrtårn-sertifisert.
This means that we have established an environmental management system that governs our climate and environmental work and helps us with continuous improvement. The certification also contains specific requirements that must be met within the working environment, waste/reuse, energy, purchasing and transport. Every year we report figures for our activities that result in a climate account, as well as results and statistics. This information provides a good overview of progress and improvement potential, and is made publicly available.

En del av Miljøfyrtårn-sertifiseringen handler om samspillet mellom virksomhet og samfunnet. Derfor inviteres kunder, samarbeidspartnere og andre interessenter til å gi innspill om hvordan klima- og miljøpåvirkningen av våre varer/tjenester kan forbedres. Innspillene gir oss nyttig innsikt i hvilke behov og forventinger dere har til Nordlandsforskning i årene fremover.
