Nordland Research Institute always interested in hearing from new Researchers . 

A significant part of the research we carry out is based on experiences from and research needs in the High North. We are aware of our role as a regional R&D partner. This means that we prefer to use regional cases and include regional partners when we participate in larger national and international projects. It is our ambition to have high competence in areas that are relevant to our surroundings, and at the same time be competitive in both national and international research arenas.

Nordland Research Institute has in recent years asserted itself well in the international arena, and in particular the EU's research programs have provided expanded networks and funding for projects that are relevant far beyond Norway's borders. It is important to clarify that not all research is related to the High North, nor only to people and societies in the North. Nordland Research's expertise and research interest have long traditions of also covering national and international research topics and operating on the international research front within our specific areas of expertise.
