Shift-Plastics Early Stage Report

The report presents early findings from a co-production process aimed at understanding plastic use and waste in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors in Norway. It identifies key challenges in creating circular value chains, including complex material compositions, fragmented responsibilities, and insufficient infrastructure for recycling and reuse. Through stakeholder workshops and system mapping, the project outlines opportunities for innovation, policy development, and collaborative solutions to reduce marine plastic pollution and improve sustainability
