Challenges for succession in family firms – Perspectives and research questions

The objective of this work is to show state of knowledge in the field and to derive a research framework and research questions that can fill some gaps in knowledge. For this purpose, and when informative, we present longer citations from the referenced literature. The paper is part of the project ”Family Business Succession in Farms and Small Businesses” financed by the Norwegian Research Council.
