Key qualifications

Helga Eggebø is a competent researcher, lecturer and writer. Her key research areas are gender equality, discrimination, migration and welfare state policies. Recent research projects focus on family migration, LGBT persons, ageing and elderly care and hate speech.

Education

Eggebø holds a PhD in sociology from the University of Bergen. Her thesis investigated family migration policies and is entitled «The Regulation of Marriage Migration to Norway»
